Alpinestars Scout boots

Any of you hooligans wear these? About to get a pair for myself and the GF. Tried them on at RMC in Renton and they are a serious boot! I can get them $20 cheaper at revzilla w/ my rebates.

I kind of like the Sidi Adventure Rain. I don't ever get to see good boots in person here in the Tri-Cities. Are the Alpine Stars Water proof/resistant?

got a pair on the way, and for clarification, I was able to get $10 off each pair( one pair for the GF too) and free shipping so I think I still came out ahead.
