Picked up a new wallet holster to try with the Smith BG380. It's made by HolsterPro and is a wallet "shoot in holster" design. Spent a little time practicing the draw with it and it's works great! It's a leather holster with a foam insert that breaks up the outline of the gun while it's in your pocket, looks just like a wallet. I have another wallet holster that I've used while walking around Seattle etc, but it takes concentration to remove the gun from the holster, the holster wants to come out of your pocket with the gun. With the HolsterPro holster you can quickly draw the gun and holster and be ready to fire if needed. I'll pack with it a bit and see how I like it, time will tell. Here's a few pictures of the holster. The Smith BG380 (a great little pack gun!) The HolsterPro shoot in holster And a shot of my other wallet holster. This one is thinner and works better for front pocket carry. Hodakaguy

The Body Gaurd is the one I want to get for the wife. I also am thinking of the LC9 for my self. The ones I carry now want to pull my pants down. The BG's are sweet with the Built in lazer. Small , sleek, with some cool factor. The White Elephant in spokane had them for $339.00 I think. For now I will just drewel over yours !

Hodakaguy, that is a nice looking gun and holster. I am having a tough time finding a holster I like for carrying while riding. I have an FEG .380 (Walther PPK clone) that is small and fits in a pocket, but I would rather have my Kimber .45 Pro Carry while riding. Suggestions would be great. Thanks. Troy341

That is a cool setup. I have never seen one of those 380's. How does one of those compare size wise to a Kimber Solo or a Sig P230? That BG looks smaller to me.

I have done a TON of research on the current crop of ultra small .380's and 9mm's. I've played with all of 'em & the ones that feel best in my hand are the Sig P238 and the Kimber Solo. The Solo won out due to the fact that it is virtually the same size, has a trigger like butter, and is a 9mm vs a .380.
With that said, the Smith looks to be a great little piece.. it is certainly priced right, and it IS just a tad smaller (.25" shorter)
Smith Bodyguard .380 (9mm short); 5.25" long,(no listing for height) 2.75" barrel, 11.85 oz, double action only
Sig Sauer P238 .380; 5.5" long, 3.9" high, 1.1" wide, 2.7" barrel, 15.2 oz single action only
Kimber Solo 9mm; 5.5" long, 3.9" tall, < 1" wide, 2.7" barrel, 17oz, single action striker fired
Sig Sauer P290 9mm; 5.5" long, 3.9" tall, < 1" wide,2.9" barrel, 20.5 oz, double action only |

Hey not to be a buzkill but just wanted to make sure you have paper work for the shoot in holster ($200 fee) other wise you can go to jail and be fined is my understanding of ATF rules on this. See ATF link and Wallet holsters http://www.atf.gov/firearms/guides/identification-of-nfa-firearms.html[/quote] Yeah I sent Holster Pro a question on this and he sent me the letter from the AFT saying this holster is exempt from the "other weapons" category. It said "There is a hole allowing the pistol to be fired in the holster but does not conceal the appearance of the pistol. The whole slide is exposed". Hodakaguy
