| Installed my Clockworks 3.4 gal tank tonight. Quality and fit are top notch! I really debated between this and the 3.4 gal Acerbis tank.....I finally decided to go with the clockworks based on it carrying it's fuel lower on the bike...and using the stock shrouds (personal preference on looks). Just took a few minutes to install. Feels just like the stock tank, just as narrow, fit's great with the Fan ect. NOTE: This tank uses the old style KTM bolts that are made to go into plastic, the type that look like a wood screw. The 530's now come with a brass insert pressed into the tank where the shrouds bolt up and use a different bolt....sooooo your factory 530 hardware won't work on this tank. If you ask Clockworks when you place your order they will include a set of 10 proper bolts at no extra charge, Nice KTM should have provided the bikes with this tank from the factory! | I didn't see them making any for 07 or older, its a shame too, they look nice and low pro. I've hit my cajones a few times on my clark tank, it sits up a lil bit. Maybe a tank bag will make a nice nut buffer area... Anyone have a fandango for sale? |

| Good choice. I've had the Acerbis 3.4 on my 08 530 EXC-R for about two years. Just about to chuck it. I've never even gotten 2 gal out of it due to the position of the pet cock not being at the bottom of the tank. Rode the Mt Scott Million Dollar DS yesterday and started coughing and spitting before I got back on pavement. No good. Great DS by the way! |
