Where do YOU want to go?

I'll be busy for the next two weeks, but was wondering where do you guys want to go riding? Toss it into a thread and lets see if we can make it happen!

It was 80 degrees and sunny today, April 20th, 2010.

Talking to the Chaos man today. I'd like to get out this weekend for a few hours at least if weather (aka, the wife) permitting.

Hey that sounds great.

Just so you know, the east side road won't open until May 15th. They plowed it already but the forest service won't open to the general public because it's a protected elk winter habitat.

Don't forget Sunday is mother's day so it'll have to be a Saturday ride No overnight but do I need to get my fishing license?

No worries, we'll do it again for sure. You could spend all summer farting around up there. I'm getting a season pass to a campground up there. Plan on being there a lot (read = base camp = ride/fish/camp).

It's plowed over Firefighter, but the road manager tells me that it's still a few inches of ice/snow (not including the now it's getting right now). Suitable for a high clearance 4x4. I'm in...we can get to 37 mile this upcoming weekend. Oh wait I have to be at the family forestry expo all day saturday, damn...hope it rains! kidding.

ha ha, I felt bad for the kids today sitting on their busses. The wind and rain today was brutal! (welcome back to spring) I'm glad I made it back from Billings yesterday. Today would have made travel miserable.

So does that mean you're in?

I'm not going to go...

The relatives are already showing up from Kalifornistan - have to help my mother, aunt and uncle prep a fifth wheel for a 8,500 mile, three month trip they decided to leave on next Monday. Found out yesterday I have two flat panel TV's and three vent covers to install before Monday.

Just goes to prove you can't live far enough away from relatives

I always thought the best tv on a road trip was the front windshield, maybe it's a california thing?!

Oh well, summer is still ahead, although I am seriously considering some good quality raingear because it may be needed to ride during the summer at this rate...

Oldtyme you guys ok? I saw the house fire smoke go up this afternoon over behind Shopko - a zillion people still there this evening when I picked my daughter up from the high school.

Hope everyone is ok...

everything is good on 4th ave, but that house is only about 500 feet away or so, and I'm sad to hear that guy passed away.

Getting back to the subject though when I first heard about an explosion I feared for my garage and of course the valuable objects inside it...fortunately I don't have a natural gas line running to the garage!

Come out to the forestry expo on saturday, bring the kids, get free lunch and hang out with logging equipment and other cool woods stuff. Right off of tamarack road where trumble creek crosses it.
