Save your money. Trust me on this one!!! To call it tubless in the first place is false advertising, because there is a tube, its just a smaller diameter, but it can still go flat. If you do try one, be sure to cary a tube and rimlock, so when it f's up, you can bail out. 6 out of 7 that I have talked to, that have tried one agree, even one guy that can get em free wont use em anymore...

Has any one tried the Inflated balls that you install? I have not found anyone using them to see if they work.

Any other way to get rid of tube a that can go flat ?

I have been using a tubliss on my 200exc for over 6 months now and I hit everything with a MT43 trials tire running 6 to 8lbs + about 8oz of slime. Mine has been great so far. I haven't had a flat yet. If you do get a puncture a simple plug kit will have you going in no time but I haven't actually needed to try it yet , also you can run it flat due to the bead is locked 360 deg. Ill be putting one up front under a s12 at my next tire change. I installed one on my father in laws GG300 and he has put around a thousand miles over around Lake Wenatchee and he nothing but good things to say about it as well. In my opinion you cant beat it if you like to run low pressure.

I think you can run less presure in the outer tire for better traction because the inner tube keeps the whole thing on the rim. I rhink.

Thats the idea anyway, the little tube is actually suppose to be inflated to 100psi...

Was in Auburn last week,stoped in at the "Cycle Gear", shop and noticed they stocked "Tubliss", liners. So I thought Id ask what the concensus was, they said,"MIXED"...

I bought one and found out that you need to install it with a new tire. May not work with tires already installed with rim locks. The rim locks will cause the Tyre bead to spread out and the tubliss will not seal.

They are JUNK !



If you have a puncture of the tire carcass, then your toast. I had one single track riding in the coastal range in OR. Ended the day for me. Could not get the tire off the rim during a trail - side repair. Ended up having to cut the tire off the rim as the tire spoons were bending the rim.

I'm back to running ultra heavy duty Michelin Tubes front and rear.

I had wondered about Tubliss...guess I'll just buy a spare toob.

I've seen a set of Tire Blocks go through 200 miles without air in the tires and hold up (atv), so hopefully testing for bikes goes equally as well. It's in the prelim stages as far as I know. I only heard of a set going into a CRF450's tires and run for a few hours on an MX track, and that's like stage 0.0.1 for testing, so keep your eyes on these.

I have been running them for a while. Love 'em!!!!! I got a puncture and plugged it like an atv tire. I was riding in some very sharp rocks really fast. Changing a tire also takes me less time, once you get the technique down. Not having a tube pushing on the inside seems to keep the tire more plyable too.

I broke down and tried it.. rear only at first with a trials tire.. I must say I like it. not problem free but lighter and less worry about pinch flats
